Barbados Sports Camp 2010
We are absolutely delighted to advise you that the Barbados Tourism Authority will once again be hosting the Barbados Sports Camp this year.
Barbados is renowned for its love of sport and the camp is a wonderful way to encourage children of all ages to improve their skills and meet new friends. I am sure they will love meeting the sports personalities and hearing what it is like to play in the disciplines of football, cricket and netball at the very highest level.
The children attending the camp will be a mix of those visiting on holiday and local Barbadian children. They will be split into ability and age groups. The camp is located at the Banks Sports Club and runs from 10am to 3pm each day, with plenty of water and food breaks.
The coaching will take place from August 3rd to August 27th. Assisting will be local coaches from the Barbados Football Association, the Barbados Netball Association and the Barbados Cricket Association who will help run the sessions. An event company runs the logistics of the camp on a day-to-day basis, on behalf of the Barbados Tourism Authority.

A Caribbean Culinery Week in Antigua
On the back of the highly successful ‘Taste of rex resorts’ event, which saw BBC presenter Gregg Wallace delight guests during cookery demonstrations earlier this year, rex resorts has launched their first ever cookery week at Halcyon Cove in Antigua this September.
Guests will relish in learning all things Caribbean, from the different varieties of food grown, spices used and fish caught to understanding how to use these ingredients with cookery lessons taking place throughout the week. There is even a mixologist session to learn how to make that perfect rum punch for when you get home with your duty free!
